Kaohsiung Insider Renewed

We've just released a major new version of Kaohsiung Insider.

Change is sometimes a difficult thing, so I've put some notes together to help you make the transition from the old site you know and [love|like|hate].

Some things have been added, and some others improved. Among the added things:

Restaurant Menus. We haven't entered any yet, but will do in the coming days and weeks. You can help by encouraging your favorite spots to get their menu on KSI.

A new Events page. The new format is intended to give you an overview of what's happening, grouped in an intuitive way. You can quickly see what's going on this weekend, for example.

A review map on your profile page. You quickly see where you have reviewed and added spots.

More complete multilinguality. This was the major structural work undertaken for this release, and it allows us to easily store localized versions of events, spots and other things. Look for improved support for Chin...

Kaohsiung Improv League

Kaohsiung's own Improv League with shows held at 4 different venues around town, the DC Stage, Pig & Whistle, Green Bay Pub, and The Galley. Shows are every Thursday starting at 10pm. Check the event calendar for the location of the next show.

Caff'e House

A small coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating with free wireless for customers.

Lila Lila Jazz Music Restaurant

A jazz music restaurant located near the Cultural Center.

Yoga House

The Yoga House, Kaohsiung City, is a Yoga studio offering Yoga, meditation and Pilates classes in English or Chinese. They also offer coffee and tea in a comfortable environment.
