Decent book store in a nice location. I have bought several books and magazines over the years here but have frequented this bookstore less and less recently. That is because they have drastically reduced the amount of English magazines on their rack to almost nothing and because I get a 20% discount at another bookstore next to my work place without applying for it. I guess they just assume I'm an English teacher. Caves books does have a large selection of foreign newspapers.

Great little book store right in the old part of town. Friendly staff. Good selection of English teaching materials. English teachers can get up to 20% discount on ALL purchases but you must apply for it. I get 20% discount off all the magazines and stationary I buy there. It cannot compete with Eslite for selection of fiction and non fiction books or magazines, but they have a decent selection at lower prices than Eslite and they will order anything for you if you ask them.

Also available are Chinese studying materials.

The layout is great, but the selection of English fiction and non-fiction is limited as with any other store in town. Amazon.com may be a better bet if you're looking for a specific title. They will, however, order an item for you as long as you are willing to wait a couple of weeks.
