I grew up in New York City, eating real New York pizza, so my expectations for "New York Pizza" were never very high to begin with. But I never imagined that pizza could be this bad.
Being that it was a small pizza joint, and not a fine-dining restaurant, the lack of decent service there was something that I could easily get over. The quality of the pizza on the other hand was just so bad, it still makes my stomach churn thinking about it.
My first slice was beyond disappointing. It was plainly offensive. The pre-made pizza sat out for who knew how long before it got reheated and served. Not surprisingly, either the cheese or the sauce was off by the time it made it to my table, and my pizza tasted like a dank, moldy towel. Needless to say, I have no plans to ever go back to New York Pizza.

I've been to New York several times. So I've actually eaten real NY Pizza, and this place aint real New York Pizza, which would be fine if it at least tasted good but it doesn't. It actually tastes more like crap to be honest. Quite frankly I'm not sure how a place like this stays in business.

My first visit to this place led me to believe I finally found a good pizza joint. To my amazement on my second visit I was shock to learn that most of the menu items were not available. The sliced pizza sitting under the heat lamp looked like it had been there several days. Not to put this puppy to bed to soon, I gave it one more shot and was even more disappointed to learn that once again several menu items were not available, it was mid-lunch time. To quench my desire for some pizza I elected to purchase one slice of the radiated portions in the sunlamp. Not surprised, it was hard, dry, tasteless and old. Back to Pizza Hut… As others have already mentioned, with out the owners there the staff goes to dazed and confused mode.

If you are a fan of good pizza, this place is not for you.
The pizza is uninspired, the base is chewy and forgettable, and the quality of the slices you get is dependent on how long ago they actually came out of the oven. The service is pretty lax, and unless the owners are about, prepare for some charades and finger-pointing.
