I agree this may be the best place for western style food in Kaohsiung. Certainly the best place I have found for it. Too bad its not closer to my hotel, or I would eat there everyday!

This place is awesome! Great food and even greater service! Cindy goes well beyond to ensure you get what you came for. The music and décor matches what is being served (rare in Taiwan). Can’t get enough! Just thinking about it makes my hungry. Recommend the burger and muffuletta sandwich.

The Bayou is the place that you'd take out of towners that you want to impress. The quality is always tiptop, the variety is great, service is prompt and efficient, and the ambience is outstanding.

Cindy will ensure that your restaurant experience is comfortable and Brandon will take care of everything in the kitchen.

On top of excellent food, The Bayou has a well-stocked liquor cabinet and a wide selection of Belgian beers to boot.

The Bayou has to be the best all around resturant in the city. A great menu selection and fine dining.

Everything on the menu is good, and the atmosphere is awesome.

Great place for a dinner party.

a solid, foreign-operated restaurant in ktown...the decore is cool, music appropriate and cindy is more than a good & friendly host...the pizza, ribs and belgian beers are all reccomendable...i also like the fact that they have a full western menu and don't try to make things they aren't familiar with or break down and just sell hot pot cause it will make more money! business has been pretty busy as of late, so reservations are probably reccomended.
