Seriously? Have you guys considered eating in any, I don't know, "local" joints? There's more to Kaohsiung than greasy, overpriced pizza, burgers, and bagels.

North American Wii games?

My dear mother sent me a Nintendo Wii for my birthday recently. Ecstatic am I but also realize that any games I buy here in Taiwan will not work. I do not want to chip/mod my Wii. So, does anyone know of any stores in Kaohsiung that sell North American versions of Wii games? If not, what are my options other than using a site like Amazon and paying for shipping from the USA?

Big Shoes

I haven't been back to Kaohsiung in years, and I'm not sure that I had much luck finding shoes when I lived there. I might be making a trip back there sometime in the coming year, and I'd really like to find some shoes for my size 13~14 feet. Hanoi has nothing much to offer, and my soles are wearing thin. Will I have much luck with anything other than basketball shoes?
