I'm not too sure about the bad rap this place is seeming to get. I've been there a number of times and my food came on time. The staff was always as courteous as a Taiwanese staff can be. All that aside though, the main reason I'm writing this is in response to the "owner speaking Chinese to TAIWANESE people". I'm sorry, but that seems a pretty strange thing to complain about. So what if your friend can speak perfect English? Maybe she can speak perfect Swahili too; that doesn't mean the owner should speak it to her. Sorry, but that just seems a crazy thing to complain about. I mean, did she understand him? Yes? Then case closed. And the owner talks Chinese to all asian customers? Wow, now that's strange, seeing how we're in Taiwan.

I apologize to anyone reading this. When I read silly comments, I have to respond.

So to put it back on topic, yes, the view is great. By far the best view you can get while eating, with Roof Park running a very close second. And as everyone has already said, the pizza is great. Real cheese...and love the peperoni. I don't eat much else there to be honest, so I can't comment on the rest of the food. Pizza, Corona & the view.

Hope that helps someone and doesn't anger too many others.

What can we say about that place???
There's a really good view but there's a big problem with the service. First I waited one hour to get some water in a not so clean glass.Staff is not nice at all maybe some trainning could be better for them. Secondly the food is overpriced and it's not really tasty..... The owner talks in chinese to all asians customers even if they are not Taiwanese....
So I think I won't go again, cos there are tons of places better than that in K-Town.

O.K., apart from the great view and the pizza. What does this place have? That's it, just the view and the pizza.

The several occasions I've tried to give this place a chance have all been disappointments. From being seated and not given menus, to having to wait fifteen minutes to place an order, to having to go directly to the bar and pay cash for beers, to having to hear the owner insist on speaking Chinese to my Taiwanese friend whose English better than mine, expect to find it all..

The last time I went to this place I opened the door and went down the steps, immediately to face the owner kindly explaining his reasoning, to some young foreign girls, why people are mistaken on thinking that drinks should come early on in one's dining experience.

The place is obviously understaffed on the weekends. Be warned, this place is slooowww.
The owner also seems to have overlooked the hospitality part of his business.

Enjoy the view....

Some interesting touches throughout the decor, menu, food and drink items (good and bad) and a very unique location make this place a worthwhile 'mini-trek' to visit. This foreign owned and managed restaurant has done an original job at offering western food balanced with local tastes. By tweaking some of the typical plates like hamburgers, fries, pizzas, salads and even quiches with special vegetarian ingredients surprising anyone. In the above mentioned you'll find things like nuts, raisins, peanut butter, mustard, seaweed or lime salt, artichokes and asparagus all prepared fairly tastefully (somewhat artfully as well). Although very little fish exists on offer in the meat department, you will find things like pork and sausage in the lasagna or pizza. Anyway, it's almost worth it just to come and have a cool smoothie from the giant deck of this place overlooking the ocean. From the nearest district known as Yancheng, it may take you at least 10-15 minutes to arrive here, depending on the traffic, the weather, where you park and how many wrong turns you make.

Beautiful spot! It's lovely to sit outside right next to the ocean and still only be five minutes from the city... going for dinner is almost a vacation in itself. The food I've tried has been ok, but the home made fries in all their varieties (especially with lime and chili) certainly are nice!
