Good selection of beers and the food is pretty good as well.

Good for a quiet drink and serves pub-like and also Chinese food. It attracts both a Taiwanese and Westerner crowd. Football is always played on the televisions. Service is good - they will take down your name for your tab. Friendly and busy.

Not seeing the big attraction here. Food was ok, service was the same. Not exactly handy to get to either if you live near the Wufu district.

I've been away from K-town for a while now, but I've got a ton of memories from the Lighthouse, all of them great (some "fuzzier" than others).

The drinks are reasonably priced, the food is always top-notch, and Bret always seems to provide the perfect soundtrack from his massive library of music. Tunes can make or break a bar, and Lighthouse tunes rarely disappoint.

The dart board is a nice touch as well, and it's guarded by a nice wooden rail to assure that no drunken bastards stumble into your game.

It's a true classic in the Kaohsiung bar scene, and I really miss the place.

The food here is excellent. They have a large variety of delicious dishes. The bartenders are very friendly and experienced. This place has a large foreigner client base with pretty girls dwelling there primarily on Wednesday and Saturday nights.
