Kaohsiung Insider

One of the very few places in Kaohsiung that welcomes anyone regardless of who they appear to be. Judy Wu and her staff are in my opinion, the best host in Kaohsiung. With Judy's email reminding you of local events and birthday reminders, it gives you the appeal of a member’s only club where anyone can join.

pros:
-Good conversation with staff to customer.
-Good location
-Good selection of music covering many genres
-ample seating
-Food can be delivered here from just about any place on Wufu 4.

Cons:
-Drinks are a little pricey
-On very rare occasions you are slightly pressured into buying drinks for one or two of the staff.

You can't say you have enjoyed the best of Kaosiung until you meet Judy 'Shake It' Wu. The Wu is a most gracious hostess with the mostest. Good drinks and fine company. Ya Ya is the cutest girl in Kaosiung and Sherry is the prettiest. This is a nice place to meet with friends and really enjoy yourself.

Not a bad little bar for Wu Fu 4th Rd, friendly staff, good pours and the more regular you are the better you get treated. Popular with all the ex-pat engineering crowd and old timers. Like almost all the old bars on Wu Fu if you go in there drunk and obnoxious or with an attitude you might get treated quite badly.

Nice location and friendly people! Judy the owner is very outgoing! She is usually there to make new friends and take care of the ones she already has. I have had many good nights here before and bar is honest which is a plus!! I had to take some points off because the beer is sometimes a little warmer than I like it and the music thats playing when I go in isn't my taste. I also have to add points because Judy will let you change the music and Ice your beer if you want!
