We stayed at this hotel for about 2 weeks in 2005 while visiting our son. Although the staff at the time had limited English, they were always polite and helpful. We were even invited into the staffroom where we had tea with two of the frontend staff, one of whom liked to call my husband Kobe Bryant, as his first name is Brian. The room was plain but was large and very quiet. As breakfast was included we always ate there and it was interesting to see what would be served in the buffet. We soon learned that eating the local foods was preferable to the cold french fries and green beans etc served to appeal to the North American palate. The restaurant upstairs served wonderful meals and we are sorry we didn't discover it sooner. The hotel is conveniently located and there are always taxis nearby.
