Teresa's serves authentic, delicious South American food off a Mandarin and English menu in a very relaxed and fun atmosphere. The catchy Latin American music in the background, the wall signed by hundreds of international visitors, the friendly service, and the tables decorated with foreign currency and photos make this a great place to enjoy a meal with friends. There are plenty of dishes to either have as an individual entree or to share around the table. I love Teresa's and love sharing an order of her cheese empanadas as a side dish!

I was very happy with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered the mushroom curry and mushroom cream soup. Both were delicious, hot, and freshly made. The curry had just a slight heat to it, which was pleasant for me. It was also my first taste of curry, so YMMV.
A friend also ordered the spaghetti, which he liked all right. Though it was made with linguini noodles, instead of spaghetti, and had pork in the sauce. Not something I eat; however, he finished his, though he said he preferred mine.
There is a variety of dishes at this restaurant, as is typical with most places in Kaohsiung I've noticed. I'll definitely go back and sample others. The service was quick (the young woman who took our order even notified us that the curry takes an additional 15-20 minutes, which is a rare occurrence in my experience), friendly and competent.
I was a little nervous because it didn't seem to be very busy on a Saturday night; however, I'm still adjusting to Kaohsiung culture so maybe that isn't unusual. Turns out that the nervousness was unnecessary as I enjoyed everything.

This place has seen its fair share of years on this well known street. The food is decidedly Latin American. The owner, a lady married to a local man, is either Peruvian or Bolivian not sure. So expect decent quality in the way of enchiladas but also a bit pricier than anywhere else comparable. Most seem to agree that the food is very filling here, but not in a bad way.
