It may be a tragedy to see a real mosh pit unfold within this cramped underground venue. And more than a couple of hundred people packed into this standing room only place may seem like a fire hazard at best. But more and more this venue is becoming a popular place to watch live music in its rawest form. The overall feeling is that music and all of its characteristics are being met here. A look around and you will see a dominant center stage with numerous sound, practice, and recording studios about, audio/visual equipment scattered everywhere, a shelf full of custom built guitars, a chill-out space, a bar and bathrooms.

It seems to be the only venue that consistantly puts out live acts...props for that.

The layout leaves something to be desired, as you may find it bottle-necked between the bar area and the stage.

Some reorganizing of the layout and possible additions to the bar list might give it a boost.

A rocking good time in this Taipei style underground live music venue. Wish they could get some good beer choices but with a 7-11 round the corner,.. well you know. Talent you seek and talent you shall find here with up and coming bands that put in work and are constantly evolving. Despite not being a terrible large space the accoutics are fine for the rocking beats that the bands blasts throughout the evening.

Join Us has been by far the busiest venue in Kaohsiung for live independent music shows, which is no surprise given the owner, Er Zhong, pretty much started the whole underground music scene at his old venue ATT over 12 years ago. In addition to great local indie bands, Join Us brings in acts from Taipei, Taichung and even from abroad. In addition to the live shows, Join Us caters to musicians who want to rent a room to practice or record. They also do sales and service of musical gear. One-stop shopping for all the rockers out there!
