I'm not all that familiar with Pakistani and Indian food, other than the most famous dishes of curry and yogurt type dishes I never really knew that much else.

Having now found Lahore I'm excited to try out so many different things on their menu, and that won't be an easy task as their menu is huge.

So far I've had a chicken dish with yogurt and chapati and it was delicious. The yogurt was very cooling (which will be perfect when summer comes) and also tried a lamb burrito. The burrito was quite large and was only about 70NT, great price in my opinion. It was also nicely spiced, I asked for very spicy as I like it that way and it was hot but not overpowering.

The milk tea was also very good, I think it was made with chai, so that was a nice twist.

The owner, Ali, is very friendly and as others noted is easy to spot out in front of his restaurant preparing food.

I definitely need to go back and try the other dishes, especially the curry's. And there's plenty of burrito's and other choices as well.

It is nearly impossible to park a car, and depending on how busy the restaurant is scooter parking can be difficult too. Note they close fairly early, I believe 8:30 or 9pm, will double check and edit this review the next time I go back.

Pretty decent food, friendly owner. I think the vegetarian dishes are overall the best tasting. I have had the chicken leg curry a few times and it has been good sometimes and not so good others. It is cheap fairly authentic and very good value for money. The chapatis are good as are the veg' curry dishes. It's on a one way street so be careful which way you approach it, if you are driving a car you may block the street if you stop outside.

A place where a lot of heart and soul goes into the preparation of the food, the prices and service. The Pakistani owner, a long time resident of Taiwan, is duly front and center of this operation that has climbed the ranks of the local food service industry here - from street vendor to restaurant, perhaps one day soon to fine dining. The curry dishes are as authentic as they come, manifesting simplicity and quality. The Basmati rice is from Thailand, the curry is imported from India/Pakistan and all the meat is prepared from the traditional Halal method (minimizing cruelty to animals). New dishes like the chicken Biryani, available on weekends, are a delicious marinade of spices complimented by a side of homemade yogurt and mint sauce - extremely delicious! Chapati flat bread is made storefront and useful for lapping up the remains on your plate - also delicious! The prices here mean that you can enjoy a dish with a side of chapati for less than NT$100.
