My favorite pub in Kaohsiung! The staff is super friendly and aim to please. No one there seems to forget your name regardless of how long you have been away. The food is excellent and not overpriced. Sakura goes well beyond any manager to ensure you get what you paid for, and some. Friday night is the night and because of its popularity can be difficult to enter around 7-8, but later in the evening it calms down a bit. My hat off to Elsa, Joy, Shelly and Summer for their hospitality and genuine concern for the customer service.

This place is great. I have spent a lot of time in here. Because the staff Shirley, Elsa, Summer, Joy, Sabrina, Allen and Sukra have become friends. Since I have been here I cannot tell you how many times I have called one of them for help. They have helped me in every way from getting the best prices on merchandise to finding the best food. Yes, maybe you can say that is only “good business practice” but I say yes “Good business practice and GREAT friends.” This will remain my favorite place. And I don’t have to worry about an outrageous bill in the end, unless I deserve it. Honesty goes a long way in my book. And Fridays Barbeque is the best. Sukra makes the best drink in town with the rest of the staff right behind. All the other bars on Wu Fu should pay attention to these guys. With honesty and quality you can go a long way. I just want to know WHO IS JASIME???

Hey, if you’re looking for a nice friendly relaxed Pub with great service, great food and Ice cold beer than Jasmines Place is for you. The extra friendly staff will be serving nice hot meals, mixed drinks, Wine and Ice cold beer.
Local and western food is served 7 days a week and Jasmines is always open on time.
Jasmines is visited by local people, short and long term engineers, college students, school teachers and members of the Hash House Harriers!
Friday night's are extra special with the weekly barbeque being served.
This barbeque is packed with the best Steaks, Ribs, Chicken and there famous Salmon for fish lovers. In over 4 years I have never had to turn any meal back.
The staff is always waiting and willing to give the best service possible with a nice relaxed atmosphere. This is a no pressure Pub, take your time have fun.
Listen to the music or request some songs, maybe you want to watch you're favorite sport, no problem. Shirley, Elsa, Summer, Joy, Sabrina, Allen and yes Skora and David are always there for your request.

What a great place for a Friday night BBQ or anytime to have a few drinks with friends. My first stop in Kaosiung was at Jasmines for their Friday night BBQ. Great chef who cooks a variety of good food; I recommend the BBQ filet or the tacos. Great people work there and always a lively international type of crowd with lots of locals too. I made a lot of friends there and it was my getaway spot when I wanted/needed to unwind. Secura (sexy owner) pours the best drink in Kaosiung. I spent time at several other establishments but you get more value for your nightclub buck here than any place else in the area. Sherry (Shirley for short) is the prettiest girl in Kaosiung. After trying many other places during my 6 months here I always found myself telling my taxi driver 13 Wu Fu #4, Jasmines Place.

I don't mind this narrow little pub with more women behind the bar than in front of it. This is a regular stop for pub crawlers and usually one of the first on the list because of it's closer proximity to the river. The talking servers don't really play any games here and standing in a corner near the back stairway talking with friends and having no concern for how much you drink seems to be fine with them. It is loaded with European older types sitting at the bar and that seems to keep them bartenders busy enough. I've heard their french fries are pretty good here.
