This Yahoo group, set up by and for expat English teachers living in (and around) Kaohsiung, is a huge success. For people living in a sea of day to day unfamiliarity associated with independence (or dependence) and culture shock, the group has certainly helped so many and continues to help, even to reach beyond. There are now more than a thousand members using this site from all over the world, not just native English speakers.
